The Swedish Cleaning
system is just that – a system. Each cloth and floor tool has been
designed to perform specific cleaning functions.
You will notice that each cloth has two completely different sides. Each side
of the cloth performs a different function. Each side has a specific purpose. Begin by folding the
cloth twice with the looped side outward. This produces four (4) surfaces, each
looped. Professional cleaners always “dust” first. Therefore, use the cloth
dry initially, remove as much dust and dirt as possible, then reverse the cloth
to the smooth side and finish. If dirt remains, try dampening the smooth side
and applying it to the dusted surface.

THE
RED CLOTH: The Heavy-Duty Cleaning Cloth
The RED CLOTH has a looped side made of hard microfibers, so-called split fibers, which are sharp-edged and give the
cloth an exceptional cleaning capacity for the removal of solid dirt. The
smooth side of the cloth consists of soft micro fibers of polyester with
inserts of split fibers.
The looped side can be used moistened for cleaning very dirty surfaces,
while the smooth side is used for polishing. Both sides of the cloth can be
used dry.
The RED CLOTH is especially well-suited for
cleaning bathroom fittings, mirrors, heavily soiled glass, tile surfaces,
toilets, bathrooms and wet areas. Best used on hard, insensitive surfaces.

THE GREEN
CLOTH: The Dusting Cloth
The
GREEN
CLOTH is designed of soft
polyester microfiber and as such, using it dry allows the fibers to create a
static electric charge as it glides across the surface of an object.
This static
electric charge literally attracts dust, dirt, micro-organisms and even
bacteria into the cloth – trapping it there within the filament. Unlike
cotton or other “round filaments,” which merely move the dust and dirt from
one resting place to another, the
GREEN
CLOTH attracts and traps the dust within the cloth’s filaments. The
GREEN
CLOTH can absorb up to seven times
its weight in dust and dirt before it is rendered ineffective.

THE BLUE
CLOTH: The Kitchen Cloth
The looped side of the
BLUE CLOTH is made of
hard micro fiber much like the
RED CLOTH.
The
smooth side, however, differs from the
RED CLOTH in that it is made of modal, cotton and smooth microfiber. The looped
side of the BLUE CLOTH is used to clean very
dirty, insensitive surfaces in kitchens and wet rooms. The smooth side is
highly absorbent and is best used for wiping down and light sensitive
cleaning. The BLUE CLOTH can be used moist,
damp, wet or dry.

THE
KOMBI FLOOR CLOTH:
The floor cloth is made of cotton, modal and soft micro fiber in polyester.
It attaches to the handle and holder with Velcro.
The
floor cloth is meant to be used in two ways: Dry, it creates a static
charge to suck up dust and dirt.
Once you have
“dry-mopped your surface area, the floor cloth can be moistened with water
and used as a wet mop. Moistened, this cloth will “scrub” dark marks and
solid dirt off of a floor surface. This cloth makes an excellent applicator
for wax and polish.

THE KOMBI
FLOOR CLOTH: PROFESSIONAL
This cloth is also made of cotton, modal and soft microfiber in polyester,
but in slightly different percentages. This cloth is designed specifically
for very large surfaces, commercial office building hallways, gymnasium
floors, convention rooms, etc. It differs from the other kombi in that it
has less drag, produces less friction, and thus covers a larger area in less
time and with less effort. It, too, makes an excellent applicator for waxes
and polish and can be used dry for dusting or damp for wet mopping. |

HANDLES AND HOLDERS |
 |
Handles are different from holders.
 |
All of the
handles are intferchangeable with all the holders.
|
 |
Handles are
industrial grade tubular aluminum with mold plastic, non-slip
handles. |
 |
Cloths
attach to the holders with Velcro |
|
|
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN A HANDLE AND A HOLDER?
The handle is that long skinny thing
that attaches to the holder. The holder is the thing at the end of the
handle to which the cloth attaches. You need both to make the floor tool
work. |
|
WHY DO
YOU SELL HANDLES SEPARATELY FROM THE HOLDERS?
The long skinny
thing (handle) works with several different sized holders. For home use, we
suggest you consider the 9” or the 16” holder with the 55” extendable
handle. Each pad is 2” longer than the holder to allow for extension of one
inch on either end. Therefore, onto the 9” holder you would attach an 11”
pad; onto the 16” holder you would attach the 18” pads. |
